Letter from Ben and Lena Karst to Carl Karst, May 23, 1968

Below is a May 1968 letter from my Grandma Lena and Grandpa Ben Karst to my Dad, Carl Karst. The love of parents for their faraway son in Vietnam is in every line, and also spiritual wisdom: “What will it come to, one wonders? So much unrest in all the world; if we had no hope beyond this life, what a sad world this would be.”
